What a heartwarming story! On Christmas Eve in the late 1990s, Me and Alan were searching for lumps of coal as a playful gift for our nephews. Unable to find any, Alan had the idea to create our own. This led to the birth of "The Proverbial Lump O' Coal TM," a novelty gift inspired by childhood memories.

After overcoming our own brain trauma, We chose to work with adults with developmental disabilities, providing them with meaningful employment opportunities. In 2002, our product sold 11,000 units in Edmonton, and by 2005, it was in major retail chains across Western Canada. our success has brought joy to many during the holidays while making a significant impact on their lives
